1. Acceptance
By using MapA you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not create an account and do not use the app.
You must be at least 16 years old.
2. The service
MapA lets you create and browse events and points of interest on a map, isolated by group (friends or communities). Some features need an account, an internet connection and, if you enable them, location or notifications.
The service is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice when we can.
3. Account
You are responsible for your credentials and for activity on your account. Do not share your password. If you use Google, Google’s terms also apply.
We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of these terms or the law.
4. User content
Event titles, notes, addresses, links and locations are user-generated content. You keep ownership; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and show them to members of the group (and, in communities, to anyone with access).
You must not post illegal content, hate, harassment, threats, spam, malware, sexual material, other people’s personal data without a legal basis, or anything banned by Google Play policies.
Do not use the app to track people without their knowledge, impersonate others, or interfere with the service.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules. To report abuse, use the contacts at the end of this document.
5. Location and notifications
Location is optional and is used to centre the map, not to broadcast your live position to other users. Notifications are optional and relate to events in groups you belong to.
6. Intellectual property
The MapA name, interface and code belong to the operator. Mapbox, Google and other providers keep their own materials. Do not copy the app or misuse their services.
7. Liability
Map information (addresses, times, notes) is entered by users and may be incomplete or wrong. To the extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect loss or for decisions based on that content.
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
8. Deletion
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Settings or from this site’s Delete account page.

You can delete your account and associated data from Settings → Delete account in the app, or from this site’s Delete account page (/delete-account). This is permanent.
9. Governing law
If you are a consumer in the European Union, mandatory rules of your country of residence still apply. Otherwise, to the extent permitted, Italian law applies.
